When we reflect on King David’s “great” sin, we typically attribute it to his adultery with Bathsheba (2 Sam. 11). His adultery led to the murder of Uriah, his newborn baby, Amnon, and Absalom. However, this was not his greatest sin. There was a greater sin that resulted in the death of 70,000 people. This week our lesson will focus on a sin of the spirit; pride.
