Enoch was a prophet who walked with God in the epicenter of apostasy and ungodliness. Bullinger highlights, “The very fact that he walked with God implies that others did not.”[1] Thus, his testimony was “that he pleased God.” It is significant to point out that he was the seventh from Adam. His life exemplifies a life of spiritual perfection. Since the days of Abel, men quickly began to depart from what God had said; their faith had faded. Enoch’s translation spoke of his belief in the promised judgment that the Lord proclaimed. Where are the Enochs today?
