Misbeliefs anchor down our negative attitude towards change. Backus and Chapian bluntly reminds us, “Nobody else makes you experience these attitudes. Nobody forces you to feel, think, and behave as you do… Stop blaming people for your problems and your sins. Nobody makes you do anything. Nobody makes you sin. You do it by yourself.”[1] These truths should cause you to recognize the only thing standing in your way from changing is your fear.
