The Lord Jesus Christ did not swim the widest ocean for us—instead He crossed the divide between heaven and earth. He did not climb Mount Everest for us—instead, He climbed Mount Calvary—to bleed and die on an old rugged cross for our sins.

No Greater Mercy

There is no greater FRIEND than Christ laying down His life….

Just as there was no greater love in Christ laying down His life, there has been no greater mercy extended than when Christ died for lost sinners.

Jesus spoke those words the night before He died on the cross for our sins. His death was not for freedom from political tyranny, but freedom from the penalty of sin.
