The WORD

God’s love for His Son is a love beyond any human comprehension. Jesus is God’s “beloved Son”—No love is so great. Jesus is “the beloved” One of all.

Knowing he was loved by His Father enabled Him to endure the rejection of men. His own were not delighted in Him, but He could go on in His service because He was assured of His Father’s love.

The Justifier

When Jesus was on the cross, God put one hand on the world and the other hand on Jesus and transferred all my sins to Je- sus—“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
