My Servant

Knowing he was loved by His Father enabled Him to endure the rejection of men. His own were not delighted in Him, but He could go on in His service because He was assured of His Father’s love.

The Justifier

When Jesus was on the cross, God put one hand on the world and the other hand on Jesus and transferred all my sins to Je- sus—“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Lily of the Valley

Rose of Sharon

The word “rose” occurs only one other time in the Bible—Isaiah 35:1-2 —“…the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly… the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of …Sharon.” This is a prophecy relating to the Kingdom.

Sun of Righteousness

The days of Malachi were much like the days we are living in today. Totally corrupt; wickedness abounding; days of spiritual indifference. There is a curse at the beginning of the book (2:2)… in the middle (3:9)… and the book ends with the word “curse” (4:6). Darkness had settled in.
