Rahab is yet another example of one who heard of the works of God. She was not a Hebrew, but rather a Gentile harlot. Her reputation did not prevent her from exercising faith by peacefully hiding the Hebrews who came to spy out Jericho. Rahab knew that her city was prepared for destruction, promised to another nation. She risked the lives of many to follow faith, and turned from idols to the living God.
